Since 2015, the annual meeting of the French interdisciplinary group for the Study of environmental effects of Nanotechnologies (GIENS) gathers researchers from various backgrounds to discuss issues related to risks associated to nanomaterials. Each year a different and specific thematic focus is addressed. This is a convivial event where a large amount of time is dedicated to discussions between attendees and invited speakers. This year, the meeting will take place in Toulouse as a satellite event of the C’Nano2020 congress. It will be a nice opportunity for both communities to meet and interact.

The program will include two plenary conferences as well as two sessions addressing  following topics:

  • Environmental Toxicology
  • Human Toxicology

Expertise and regulatory aspects in France, Europe and worldwide will also be discussed. A session will be dedicated to posters in order to facilitate discussions.
